Is there any way to export the completed tasks to produce a log of all the tasks completed. I’m thinking it’s a good record of work.

This video was great. I actually had no idea that Microsoft had a To Do app. It's going to change my life 🙂 Is there a way to add people to a group rather than separate lists? Thank you!

Hi everyone hello from Sunny Durban South Africa
I am struggling as only myself in small business and I do all installations and marketing and admin myself…
Like up 2am bed 10pm and not getting anywhere
I tried OneNote, and use word & excel for certain things.
Time is a problem for me
    Should I change to ToDo?
    Thank you

Sorry, unless I misunderstood you I believe you are not correct about integration to OneNote. Right click in One Note and flag something and it will show up in To Do as a task.

I like the app but I would love to see my tasks and calendar events together in a calendar view so I could plan my week ahead and move things around. I would also love if the My Day section would be automatically populated with the tasks with reminders and due dates.

I've REALLY been trying to like MS To Do, but as a stand-alone app it just can't compete with ToDoist, at least yet. ToDoist's recurring date feature alone is way ahead of To Do, and I can't get To Do to show reminders. I've seen this is a common problem and there are apparently workarounds, but when ToDoist just plain does the job, that's a hard argument to make. I'm a Microsofty at heart though, and I keep checking out all the cool stuff they're bringing out.

Comparing with Todoist and Any.do, Microsoft To-Do does nothing special for me what my samsung reminder can't do.

No natural language detection, no facility to add 2 or more tasks at a time, no .svg or excel integration, no desktop shortcut.

Just one benefit from other cross platform android to do app is that you can add recurring tasks for free.

Leila, just a quick one: I have 5 email accounts can I only use Flagged emails for a selected email account? Secondly when I have addressed the flagged email will it return to the account without the email being flagged. The other point I was interested in is for calendar reference once again can I select a separate calendar (I would use the calendar connected the special email account I was talking about? Sorry for all the questions but you explain things extremely well. Cheers Bryan

Wow i just found out about this… I think I'm gonna try using it focusing on what happened in my emails, on what to reply. I'm still gonna use planner for many tasks that's too bureaucratically long to be emailed. We'll see

I manage a team of 50+ people, each one of them needs to track a project with over 200+ task to do in a year. Which is the best tool for them, and for me to track all of their projects?

The deal breaker for me with To Do is that there is no option to add a Start Date. Great video. Thanks for your work.

I used to love my wunderlist. Microsoft to do is cheap version of it. Colors, icons quality everything looks primitive.

I put some to-do list which recurring yearly. After I check completed, next year to do recurring pop-out again. And the todo list didnt get cleared. I feel stress. To-do list should only show the outstanding to-do items which should be due in the month or 2. Should not show to-do for next year. How to fix this?

ToDo DOES have integration with OneNote. You just have to flag the line (it can be a task) with CTRL+SHIFT+1 and it appears on ToDo. It’s a bit laggy but it works when taking notes and wanting to send something quick to your tasks before you forget.

    Hope this helps!

It needs to sync with the calendar. I had to go back to google task just for that. One needs to look at the calendar a see what tasks, reminders in one view. Otherwise, Tasks has no match.
