Make Your Druid Godly With the Rain Runeword and Collect Health From Monsters and Players (Part 1)

Rain is a Runeword that can be made in body armor. The highest Rune required is a Mal, which falls somewhere between the semi-rare and extremely rare Rune category, so it is relatively expensive compared to other Runewords. The +2 to Druid Skill Levels and huge boost to Mana makes this armor best suited for Druids who make extensive use of their Elemental Skills: Fire or Wind Druids. However, other classes, more specifically casters, might find this armor useful as well due to its huge Mana boost, and the Damage Taken Goes to Mana mod.

Requirements:

3 Socket Body Armor

Runes (in order): Ort + Mal + Ith

The Stats:

Level Requirement: 49

5% Chance To Cast Level 15 Cyclone Armor When Struck

5% Chance To Cast Level 15 Twister On Striking

+2 To Druid Skills

+100-150 To Mana (varies)

Lightning Resist +30%

Magic Damage Reduced By 7

15% Damage Taken Goes to Mana

5% Chance To Cast Level 15 Cyclone Armor When Struck

Cyclone Armor is a spell from the Druid’s Elemental Skills Tree.  It is very useful: Cyclone Armor casts a cyclone shield around the Druid that absorbs Fire, Cold and Lightning damage,  with the amount depending on the Level of the Skill.

A Level 15 Cyclone Armor can absorb up to a total of 208 elemental damage (Fire, Cold and Lightning) before it crumbles.

Cyclone Armor is incredibly useful because it can save the Druid from imminent death. When the character reaches higher levels, 208 hit points can spell the difference between being alive or being dead.

5% Chance To Cast Level 15 Twister On Striking

Twister is a spell from the Druid’s Elemental Skills Tree. It casts several small whirlwinds that crash into the Druid’s enemies, dealing Physical damage as well as Stunning targets by 0.4 seconds. The Stunning duration is fixed by the Physical damage depends on Twister’s Level.

A 15 Level Twister does 44-46 Physical Damage.

Since this mod’s conditional trigger is On Striking, it would go well with Fire or Wind Druids who are part casters, part melee characters anyway.
