lol this comment section was hilarious, its too obvious who would be broke if they couldnt keister random items cause of fear. The game is a gamble, The gunfights and locations would be so much more fun if you actually had to be smart or skilled to get the really good loot out. Not just get a good spawn and butt naked run to it first with no risk. I only have an alpha and still use hatch runs for quests that are annoying like the factory ones, but ive never raced to the ledx spawns for money. It just seems like a gimmicky way to play and not for me.

If they want to take away the ability to put anything in raid into the secure containers thats fine, but then give everyone access to larger secure containers, because that creates a pay to win scenario where gamma container users can bring over twice as much meds + keys. Can't even purchase a beta container in this patch, now it will cost nearly 3 million rubles to get 2 extra slots.

I think the containers should all be made like the kappa instead of removing the ability to put stuff in them mid raid.

camping extracts just to prove how bad it would be to loose gamma containers. Worst idea ever to remove the ability to put into the gamma.

I think instead of just making the container useless, they should make a separate thing like scavs where you have to wait a certain amount of time to do a hatchling run. I don’t care about not being able to use my gamma like I can now I’m just not ready to get extract camped, people already play like pussies but this next patch is gonna be a new wave of people from small dicksville

I feel like the only way the new secure containers can still be good is if the smaller cases like dog tag, documents, wallet, keybar, ect still work like they do now. Because what is the point of bringing a dog tag case or even owning one if I have to risk having it in my backpack as well as any tags I get? I feel like this will push people to pretty much only scav raid. Because as a new player (2 months or so owning the game), I feel like I am forced into an all or nothing with zero loot safety for that one time I get a key spawn or tetris/bitcoin. And at that point, what would the point of even touching a PMC be? It pretty much forces me to feel like I have to run scav raids 4 out of 5 raids to have a chance at profit.

honestly the gamma is way to op and im happy its being nerffed even tho I have eod … so tired of hatchlings running in naked taking good loot shoving it up their ass when I go in kitted and take all the risk but interchange or most of the spots are already looted by the time I get their

How the fuck is that pretty awesome and pretty cool? Are you fucking dumb? That’s fucking stupid. The container is literally the only way new players get ahead.

I jumped in yesterday with EOD version… Wish I'd known about the change coming to the gamma container before spending ~$150. The stash size is nice and does help with keeping things organized, but I honestly got the EOD primarily for the gamma. I felt like having anything short of that would just be handicapping myself. RN I'm using it as a first aid kit mostly atm. If I need meds, I get safe, pop the med out, use it, and pop it back in. Maybe not the best use for it, but I'm only running on Customs atm just trying to learn the map for the most part. (I'm to the point that once I bumble into a few certain places I know roughly where I am and where to go to get to most of the primary extractions.)

if your unable to stash in your SC in raid then theres no need for it, get rid of it all together….using meds and ammo out of it is petty …. the idea of a SC is to have a case only you can put stuff in ,I think to use things out of it should take more time because your ammo and meds should be in your pack, pockets,or vest…not locked away in a container and easy to use quickly at any time….if people are scared of loosing keys then just have a key ring in a slot that cant be touched like your melee slot or have lock-picking that requires more skill at higher levels to pick more valuable areas…that said, I also think you should be able to loose your melee weapon…but there should be alot of melee weapons laying about all over the map from broken glass to pipes to tasers and many more..thanx tweak!

Will see my hours drop significantly through the prewipe and will most likely stop playing if its permanent. This is my main source of income since I started super late into the wipe. Hard to fight 3 geared dudes when you're a solo with a makarov

I think it will be awesome, but Customs better get, at least, two extracts at each side. Exit camping will go wild.

The game will die if you can’t stuff containers. How many times have you gotten an item and decided to pvp because you already secured your desired item. People are gonna play like complete pussies if you go into raids. Labs will be like 30 second extractions lmao

The whole people won't risk thingy is absolute bullshit, since soo many people are playing labs all the time, they got used to losing everything on death, since you cannot insure on that map, so that fear of losing gear only stays with the less experienced players

I think that the secure containers RIP is a good thing only for streamers and Excellent players that are getting bored and are already overflowing with good gear and money. But for the big part of the player base, the game will become more and more unbearable ( ExitCampers, onetap shot, etc … ) This adds challenged to the Pro player base, but the common player will get frustrated then eventually they will leave the game and server will get empty. That or most of player will grind stuff via freeMarket and stay in their hideout. Most average player will do almost only scav runs and get their PMC out in the field once every month to die at Exfil by onetap campers and lose everything. And I don't have EOD version, but regardless secure container RIP is a bad idea

Oorrrr… Hear me out now, instead of putting a blanket punishment on the whole playerbase for the Secure container thing; why not just have the hatchlings spawn further away from the good loot, with the more geared players spawning closer to the center of the maps thus making it more likely they will cross paths with any competent player and die?

Or that's too much work to code and we should just have a defacto ban on safe-ish raids with a gamma.

im so glad secure containers are going.
It removes the most obvious pay to win aspect of the game, altought slight, a larger container can net you up to the amount of 3 guns of guarenteed cash, with it gone we are all on an even playing field, with those buying EOD having to grind less to upgrade the player hideout stash.

Bro.. figgity FUCK that container change. what the flying fuck did I spend 150 bucks for then?! shit is beyond wack. I don't see why people hate hatchet runners so much. ive beaten hatchet runners wearing essentially full gear. its not hard. you know youll be weighed down by your armor, have multiple paths laid out to go for the different spawns before hand, and commit to it, don't deviate and you should beat or meet anyone there.. don't make it in time cause you got In a firefight? oh well that's the name of the game. go get some other loot somewhere else. ALL IT WILL DO IS INCREASE EXIT CAMPERS.it caters to the PvP gods. hate to break it to you, but not everyone is the best at PvP ESPECIALLY in fucking Tarkov. you do get better with time of course, but until you are comfortable with fighting other players, having a case to stash what few precious items you may have found in raid or in your entire career in Tarkov if youre very new. Imagine finding a bitcoin or tetriz for the first time. what did you do? threw that bitch in your stash and was happier than a bitch. imagine finding one, and due to your relative new-ness to the game, some lvl 45 decked out PMC kill squad runs up on you with M4's and takes the one tetriz you've found so far. my bet is youre gonna say "FUCK this game" and not want to play it anymore.. as @meunit2 said "Having hatchet runners as your opponents in PvP is boring, not having any PvP from low player numbers will be worse."

The EOD edition was a terrible idea from the get-go, litteraly a "pay-to-win" edition (or lose less depending on how you see it). I'm glad they're trying new things with end-wipe events, last wipe was a mess but a lot of fun.

Thank fucking god I get to fight something other than raiders in the Labs now. Every raid 4/5th of the PMCs are hatchlings or pistolings.

There is no point in taking away the ability to securely get loot out when you die. Player base is only gonna decrease from here.

it logged me out today and every time I go to log back in it makes me do an email conformation. And it never goes through so essentially I'm stuck in an infinite loop. And support pretty much doesn't exist. When it was on sale and I bought the one before Eod I didn't even get the sale price that was advertised. Tried contacting support and didn't hear a word back.

This only benefits streamers and people who no life this game. Your secure stash is basically how casuals and newbies make money.

If they want to implement this after the test they should have the option to downgrade your account and get a refund. And as much as people say "it goes to support the developers " me purchasing the game supports them. I upgraded to get the extra space and gamma. And if people say that the reason they upgraded to EoD was to support the dev's, give me your gamma case then.

The container thing is a great idea, force you to extract stuff first before it becomes securable on future raids, and prevents gamma glitching d bags. The issue will be exit campers just waiting for you to bring them a fortune.
