What the @#$% is urLLC? 5G ultra reliable Low Latency Communication turbocharges the digital economy

urLLC or ultra reliable low latency communication is a key feature of 5G mobile networking that will allow operators to offer ultra responsive services to vertical industries, and in doing so will redefine the digital economy.

There’s no question that we live in a digital world, and this is all powered by next generation mobile technologies like 5G and 6G, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and a myriad of other cool technologies like IoT, MEC and Network Slicing.

This Tech Bytes series is all about taking the complexities of new ICT and explaining them in ways that make sense. Ideally Tech Bytes is all about educating those looking to learn more about the fundamentals that power our digital world.

To get started, check out What the @#$% is 5G and learn about the 3 key fundamentals of 5G – eMBB, mMTC and urLLC.
5G https://youtu.be/9TKNzXz8Flc
eMBB https://youtu.be/1QUxP3UXH6k
mMTC https://youtu.be/4Al2YrS3HXo
urLLC https://youtu.be/NTNJMf1v5f8

If you want to go deeper you can check out my videos on specific technologies like MIMO, Network Slicing, MEC.

There’s also some good content on how all these mobile standards are formed and some of the critical decisions that need to be made regarding Frequency Bands, Spectrum and Standards.

If you want to see what’s next, check out the Tech Byte videos on 5.5G and 6G.
